Will DSLRs vanish? Will DSLRs vanish?
Posted by: rml695

Video duration: 592 seconds

This is not necessarily DSLR related in the sense of what I've been talking about in the past. This video addresses new technologies such as the Micro 4/3 standard implemented by Panasonic & Olympus, as well as what a company by the name of RED (http://www.red.com/ epic_scarlet/ & http://www.reduser.n et/) is planning. The question is: with these new technologies, will DSLRs disappear off the map?

Confusion about the Panasonic Lumix G1 Confusion about the Panasonic Lumix G1
Posted by: rml695

Video duration: 418 seconds

The Panasonic Lumix G1 has been mistaken for a DSLR, which it is not. Just the ability to remove the lens does not make it a DSLR. What makes a DSLR a DSLR is the mirror box inside. I'll explain in the video. I also talk, very briefly, about a video I have planned for the future.

Posted by: rml695

Video duration: 628 seconds

What is the difference between GSM and CDMA? Without getting into the technical nitty gritty, I explain it from a consumer standpoint and point out the benefits of the SIM card that is only available on GSM phones and carriers, here in the U.S. those are AT&T (formerly Cingular) and T-Mobile.

People Take Their Vision for Granted People Take Their Vision for Granted
Posted by: rml695

Video duration: 601 seconds

Most people have had their vision all of their lives and, with the exception of those of us who are retired (60+), they think they will have their vision for ever. While this certainly can be the case, there is also an equal chance of this not being the case. One's vision should not be taken for granted. This video is aimed at the people who bashed me in the past due to my glasses. Thank you.
